Two Great People In My Life
My Tran was born and raised in Vietnam. She was born on June 6, 1940. For a large part of her life, she lived on a boat the size of a canoe with her parents to help supply for her family. Her family would go days on end out to sea to fish. During her teenage years, she went to live with her uncle to care for her siblings and cousins. Later on she migrated to America in search for a better life. Through her life experiences, she has learned and taught me many things. One thing that she tells me all the time is that "a little goes a long way."
Teachers
Kathy Thuy Dang was born on March 3, 1972 in Hanoi Vietnam. She had a very rough childhood and was not very wealthy. Today, she is a loving wife and a great mom to two children which is me and my brother (Dylan). She has taught me that I should not worry about what others say. When I was younger, I used to be picked on alot by others because I was different which really crushed my self esteem and made me very shy and caused me to distance myself from others. Without her support and words of inspiration, I would still be secluded and not as open as I am now.
